We gather to mark a poignant and somber milestone: the 50th year since the invasion of Cyprus. In the heart of Houston, the Friends of Cyprus board has secured a sacred space, the venerable City Hall, Hermann Square, where we shall hold a silent candlelight vigil. As the sun sets on July 20, 2024, at 7:00 pm, we shall stand united in solemn remembrance.
Join us, with your family and friends, to illuminate the night with our collective memory, showing the world that in Houston, the flames of remembrance shall never be extinguished. We shall NEVER FORGET!
