The Hellenic Cultural Center of the Southwest has recently approved the creation of the School of Music in the metropolitan area of Houston TX.

• Instruction of Hellenic contemporary and traditional music
• Beginners to experts, all ages
• Gradual expansion from a core program to more advanced and specialized classes
• Piano, guitar, bouzouki, percussion, vocals

•  Tutor-based instruction cycles
•  One class per week
•  Eight-week cycle
•  Rotating locations in SW, Central and North Houston
•  Performances timed to coincide with community events (festivals, national day celebrations, e.t.c.,...)
•  Tutors’  compensation covered by tuition fees
•  Several potential tutors have been contacted
•  Targeting around 5-10 participants in each class
